German American Artists was founded in 2005 to promote visual artists with a strong affinity to German culture. The group is located in the San Francisco Area but has members throughout the Western US.

Contemporary artists converge and question issues of the day through individual or collaborative expression. Dayism is based on the belief that the cross-pollination of ideas and art-forms by individuals can produce works of greater cultural significance.
