Squid Acres Kennel is based in Northern Alaska, near the town of Fairbanks where our focus is all on the dogs. Our kennel is devoted to the quality care and enjoyment of our sled dogs with a focus on wilderness travel.

Our foundation works with individual mushers, shelters, and other rescue organizations to act as a clearing house for veteran racing dogs to find appropriate homes for them after their racing days are done.
